First thing first. There are things that I have totally cut out my diet and thing's I will indulge in from time to time. One of my favorite thing's to eat is red meat. You may have heard of the downfall of eating red meat, but I do eat things with a face. They say to much of anything is not good for you, so I'll include red meat in my diet every 90 day's, at least. I recommend that if you are purchasing ground beef, veal, lamb or other meats you enjoy, purchase a slab of the meat and have it grinded. This way, you know that it comes from one piece of animal and not a combination of anything leftover like hooves, gristle, eye's...ect. I prefer elk meat. Less cholesterol, fat and very hearty. That 1/2 lb burger, medium rare with all the fixing's. Romaine leaves, tomatoes on the vine, sometimes a fried egg white, (which now makes this a Texas burger) some type of whole grain wheat bun-half maybe, red onions raw and just a slash of mustard, Grey Poupon Preferably. What I have totally cut out of my diet is white sugar and things with the ingredient Asparateme. Click on asparateme and find out this poison danger to your health. This is why I take about 3 hours to shop for food because I read my labels. Labels are on food products to read them! I now use Sugar in the Raw or another Turbinado sugar brand substitute's, or just plain ol' honey to sweeten my food. I find that having a coupon online or searching the weekend papers for this product to be on sale works for me.
